That's essentially the same as my list, except I don't have any real interest in Wanted or Kung Fu Panda, and I'm debating if I want to see 10,000 BC and Cloverfield or not.

X-Files 2? Didn't hear about that. Sounds cool... and I'm sure David Duchovny(sp?) needed the work. XD

Anyway, I don't really have a list. I pick which movies I'll see as the year goes on, practically on a whim. I'm not deciding a thing now.

XP

Indeed, the poor SOB. As for the movie, I just found out it was under way a few hours ago myself:

No clunky mythology to deal with, and it hits July 25th. So awesome.

Californication wasn't too bad.

And yeah, this time it looks like it's real. Since the TV series ended, every time someone interviewed him he mentioned there's an X-Files movie coming. >.>

It was supposed to come out December 25th this year, but the last I heard, they were talking about pushing it's release date up to December 19th instead:

Ah, OK. I had it in my head that it was gonna be a Spring '09 launch, so that's good to know. Hopefully it ends up being worth it.

You know, as utterly horrible as that looks, part of me wants to see it just for the "Pit of Death" gag. Sure, it's hokey, but I laughed, damn it. XD

Also, I have a confession to make. Every time I see that commerical for that "Strange Wilderness" movie, and they repeat that scene of the shark with the AWFUL teeth swimming by over and over to the awful laugh track, I am completely and utterly incapable of keeping a straight face.

So that's one movie off the list.

*hums the Rambo theme*

In other news,

Superhero Movie:

Quote:

Finally, the guys behind the outrageously silly "Scary Movie" franchise have used their own 'special powers' to spoof superhero movies. After being bitten by a genetically altered dragonfly, high school loser Rick Riker develop superhuman abilities like incredible strength and armored skin. Rick decides to use his new powers for good and becomes a costumed crime fighter known as "The Dragonfly." However, standing in the way of his destiny is the villainous Lou Landers. After an experiment gone wrong, Lou develops the power to steal a person's life force and in a dastardly quest for immortality becomes the supervillain, "The Hourglass." With unimaginable strength, unbelievable speed and deeply uncomfortable tights, will the Dragonfly be able to stop the sands of The Hourglass and save the world? More importantly, will we stop laughing long enough to notice?

Might see Cloverfield next.

Finally saw the Strange Wilderness trailer... you're right, Lowe. WHY IS THAT STUPID SHARK AND LAUGH SO DAMNED FUNNY!? XD

Anyway, looks like we've got some good comedies coming up. Strange Wilderness, You Don't Mess With the Zohan, and that Will Ferrell movie with the amateur basketball team. <3<3<3

I saw it. I honestly laughed pretty consistently through the movie (even though I hated Epic Movie). My only gripe is that they four scenes containing squirting bodily fluids. It is worth staying a few minutes into the credits since there are some clips of utterly random nonsense that also put me into hysterics.

Sniktbub could be interesting... but FarCry trailer reminds me of the Postal trailer. Only it takes itself seriously. XD
